My sculptural work reflects a predisposition to drawing seen through the act of moving, molding, shaping, and scoring molten metal. Exploring interests through spontaneous intuitive mark making, transforming the “strength of steel” to an organic statement of the fragility of humanity and the strength of the struggle.


“What Day is it?” will be located in Port Huron, Michigan US, for the next two years as part the Blue Water International Exhibit, I am honoured to be part of this wonderful exhibition and plan on visiting often. The sculpture speaks on a sensory level with a direct correlation to the persona and the theoretical state of flux between the ego and shadow: good verse bad, I liken to the human condition. Now with a wonderful aged patina, it was created from one piece of steel, the shadows of the split persona viewed in the light of day, merge, twist, and distort, with the passing of time, in constant flux…
